How do I set up outlook's calendar to look like a traditional Sunday through Saturday calendar?

For Month view, you can do this via View | Current View | Customize Current
View...click the Other Settings button, and in the Month section, clear the
checkbox for "Compress weekend days". (Note: In Outlook 2003, there's an
extra menu step -- it's View | Arrange By | Current View | Customize Current
View.)

Unfortunately, Week view will always show the weekends compressed.

If you are displaying the calendar in month view and want full weekend days,
go to View and use the customize current view command. On the Other
Settings button, remove the check from Compress Weekend Days.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, dave asked:

Please don't tell me this! There has got to be a way (or plug-in) to see Week View without compressing the weekends. Not everyone works Mon-Fri. HELP

Not in Outlook itself, but you might want to take a look at some free Word
templates that use your Outlook calendar data to create a calendar in Word,
which you can then customize to your liking. I personally use My Outlook
Calendar and am very pleased with it. Links to these templates can be found
here:

Incorrect.
Click on 5 day week, then in Tools/Options/Calendar Options check all days and make any other choices you want. I, for example start the week with Monday.
All weekdays show as equal.

That's "Work Week" view, not "Week" view. My earlier reply specifically
stated that "Week" view would not show weekends uncompressed.

You're correct that Work Week view will show all 7 days as equal on the
screen, which is perhaps what the original poster wanted. However, you
cannot print it that way -- the only print choice for a weekly view shows
the same as the Week view.

You're right. I am sorry I was perhaps too terse in my post. I keep reminding myself not to send messages right away, because as soon as I clicked Send I knew I did not think it through.

No worries. :-) Perhaps the original poster will like the idea of the
7-day Work Week view.
