Tracks Eraser??

Let me first start by saying I am not a computer savvy guy. I used the tracks
eraser feature and now I am unable to open some of my emails. I get an error
message, invalid menu handle, along with a c:\documents and
settings\lance\local settings\temporary internet files\content.IE5\76BRT……, I
can’t seem to undo what ever it is I did.
PLEASE HELP
The boxes I checked where- internet explorer history, internet explorer
cookies, regedit, temporary internet files, windows explorer, recycle bin and
windows temporary files.
Any help would be great. Thanks LG
 
Do you have backups for your drive ie personal files ?

Do you try a restore point before that day.

Track ereaser is buggy, better to use CCleaner.

If you are a novice, you should stay away from the Tracks Eraser. I agree
with Engel, just stick to using Disk Cleanup in Control Panel and/or
IE-Tools-Options dialogue. Also, select START - RUN - "Restore" and see if
you can restore your computer to a previous date and fix any of the problems
you may have. If you continue to use MSAS Tracks Eraser, then DO NOT check
the REGEDIT selection. Messing with your computer's registry is dangerous and
can cause major problems if you do not know what you are doing. :) Good Luck!
