how do I erase what I originally typed that is showing in my document after I

Cathy, it seems you're asking in the wrong place. Access doesn't use
"documents" and it doesn't have a "tracking" feature. Are you using
Microsoft Word, or some other program? If it's an Access database,
please explain more fully.
