Ok, i posted several days ago and some helpful responces but still have a
problem. As mentioned before every now and then my "taskbar" and even part of
the screen will turn black shortly and back to normal. Plus a sound would go
off, after checking sound files i believe its the xp exclamation..

I've read all over and tried many things. Defragged, cleaned..set all could
back to default, Deleted programs don't need. And other things i'm
forgetting. So at the moment the only two things i can think of is,,,its a
Dell (inspiron 1501) hardware trouble....or not too sure bout this but awhile
back i got a old DOS game and could not get it to run thru the cmd
prompt<bear with me i'm not too bright> I did make sure it was not in my
program files. Would appreciate any imput...thanks
