Tracking presentation views

Is there a way to track the number of views a ppt file is getting. This doc
is for internal use and I would like to track more than just the page the
file is linked from. Ideally I want to know how many views and how long they
viewed it.
 
I am using 2010 if that matters and the file is sitting on a file share cause
it is 2G (lots of video)
