Is there a way to track object dependencies in a database that has already
been created? Many of the objects in the database do not have the
dependencies attached to them when the Object Dependencies tool is used.

Hi GD,

Yes, it is possible, however, you must have Name Autocorrect (aka Name
Autocorrupt) enabled. Do so at your own risk--or just re-enable this on a
disposable copy of your database.

You didn't tell us which version of Access that you are using. Access 2003
should automatically update the "Name Maps" used for the Object Dependencies
feature to work. In Access 2000 and 2002, you will need to first re-enable
Name Autocorrect, and then open each object in design view, save it, and then
close. Start with all your tables, then do the queries, then the forms &
reports. If you have A2000 or 2002, I think I can dig up some code that will
help you accomplish this task.
