After Tracking Changes are turned off in Word 2002 SP-1
and copying the text to an Outlook Express email message,
the red strike-through tracking changes still appear in
the copied text.

Anyone know how to stop this? I was advised that editing
the copied text is the only way.

Just turning off Track Changes may not be enough; you may
need to Accept/Reject the changes, as well. Note: when
copying/pasting between Word documents the changes should be
left out in the pasted result, so you may need to work over
a second Word document, or perhaps Notepad.
