Has anyone any views on TrackerV3?

<quote> TrackerV3 is an Advanced File System Explorer. It comes with a
Windows Explorer-like interface but a far broader scope: you get much more
information and you get it all on the fly, plus variously enhanced
functionality and ease of use, extended file find, reporting features,
multimedia preview, and ASCII/binary file view. </quote>

I use Trackerv3 for it is definitely an improvement over the Xp FIND. But I
uninstalled the latest version and went back to 3.5 because there were a few
strange behaviours such as redoing the search over and over again. Then
sudden 'must quit' situations started so I went back to 3.5 which runs very
smoothly, finds things very quickly and could be used instead of explorer.
I'm on XpSp2.

I don't use it as a file manager, but it seems to have an abundance of
useful features. As a Find utility, it excels.

I have the same problem with the search in the latest version (me too on XP
SP2).
I'm waiting for the next version: I see that Donald Lessau is very active
and this software is marvelous.

Hi Rose,

let's try to fix that bug! I don't have it myself (XP SP1, though I don't
think it's related to SP2), so I need your help in isolating it. The best
way would be if you reported that bug to the TrackerV3 User Forum:
http://www.trackerv3.com/forum/ I particularly need to know whether this
issue arises only in particular directories (and if yes, in which ones).

Particularly useful is to find files which has been changed/placed in
the previous 5 or 15 or 60 minutes or day, week, month and year.

Nice program although for "find files" I prefer the (crippled) AvaFind
and further to that TurboNavigator (dual panes) as a file manager.
It is a matter of taste, I think.

Thank you, Donald, now the search works great!

Now that is customer support. Too bad companies trying to earn income
off their products are this responsive.

Nicely done!
