Hi there, i've downloaded this program and noticed it has
a track eraser for internet tracks and suchlike. Can
anyone tell me what its for. obviously it deletes sites
where you've been but why is this important? does that
help/do/fix anything specific or is it just for peace of
mind if you're doing credit cards and things?

Just wondered, any help would be apprieciated

Hi

This tracks eraser is really buggy, use CCleaner instead for crap/junk
removal.

www.ccleaner.com

It's nothing whatsoever to do with security of credit card transactions. It
is more to the angle of whether other users of the machine, or some other
person looking at the machine, can track what you've been looking at or
where you've been surfing by looking at various most recently used lists,
etc. Generally, more for the paranoia-oriented, (or guilty!) than any form
of genuine security issue.
