Track changes

Is there a way to track and sum changes in a sheet? If I
have 10 in a cell and then type over that with an 8, can
I have the difference of 2 show up somewhere? Using 2
columns/cells will not work with what I want to do.

This can be done but is not advisable since you would have no way of
re-entering incorrect data.

i.e. no "Paper Trail" to follow.
