Track Changes Author

I have a client with Word and Win XP. He said that he used
to see the author of a change in the balloon on the
document when tracking changes. Now he sees the balloon
and the action taken and the color, but no author. When he
opens the reviewing pane, he sees the author below. But he
wants to be able to see the author w/in the document. He
said this is on all docs. Any ideas?
