Is it possible and legal to look at other people's searched items on google,
yahoo or MSN? if yes, where can I find them?

I know about this, but the poster seemed to be referring to Google searches
that individual users had made. Jacky asks whether it is possible to look at
"other people's searched items" - and, of course, Google groups is an
archive of many newsgroups - but that doesn't seem to me what Jacky was
asking.

Do you administer the system the search was made from? Then you may find
information in the profile on the computer.

Yes. Google suppies all that information to the US government.

I thought that they had refused to do so - or certainly that they had
refused to provide summary information to the Bureau of Homeland Security -
although this did not contain information about individual account holders.
