I have notice in the newgroup that the question regarding
how do I get passed the log in screen when thier are no
users listed. is not answered
I reformated a couple days ago, and my system worked
fine, then all of a sudden for no apparent reason it
seems to want a log in, and one was never establishe
I am reformating my notebook agian becuase I can not get
to the start/run to enter in the fix as something like
type in control and the command to fix this problem that
I have written down somewhere
after I reformat my xp home edition, and this could
happen again. how do I force my notebook to some place
where I can atleast get to the desk top where I can fix
this. or better still how can I prevent it the next time?
bottom line. I can not get passed the login screen to
access my desktop. I don't even want the login.

Help me
bound to reformating.

XP Home? Boot to Safe Mode. You should see a logon choice for the default
(and hidden) Administrator account. Unless a password was assigned, the
password field for this account can be left blank to log on.
