Tough one. Wireless and cable, not at the same time. How?

I have alot (thousands) of new dell d600's with build in
wireless and a nic card also. What i have to do is make
it so that if one adapter is connected to a network the
other will not even allow to be loaded. If on nic card,
and you try to load wireless it will not permit the
wireless to load. Basically this way a bridgable
connection is impossible to happen. I know of other ways
to do this, but a fail-safe way that point blank only
allows 1 network connection at a time is not out there.
Any ideas? this is a large concern nad no one seems to
think its possible. They are all on windows XP. Service
pack 2 is not installed. Thanx

Suggestion: Why not create boot-up profiles? This will allow only the
device to load that is needed...and disable the device that is not needed.

Example:
Profile Wireless is selected and loads the wireless adapter while disables
the on-board NIC.

Profile NIC (default) is selected and loads the NIC while disables the
wireless adapter.

Of course this is all said, while assuming that the user's do not have admin
rights. Well actually that can be worked around too, but more trouble.

Hope this is what you had in mind...good luck.
