How do I disable the touchpad on my laptop? I will be
typing along and all of the sudden I am typing in the
middle of the paragraph because I hit the touch pad. I
can't stand this since I am a hardcore mouser.!

Eddie, if there is a control panel icon for the touchpad or a shortcut in
the start menu to touchpad software - use it. If this does not have a
setting to disable, it should at least have some settings to help you out.
Look for options such as "ignore accidental resting of palms when typing."
Not the exact wording but it's the general idea.
