Totals on Report

I have a report grouped like this:
Level 1: Agent
Level 2: Location
Then I have data by date for 3 locations:
Mon
Tue
Wed
Thur
Fri
Total for week
Then in my agent footer I need totals for all locations by date:
Mon
Tue
Wed
Thur
Fri
Totals

Everything works perfect except I can't get my totals in the footer to fill.
It seems like this should be a normal function for a report but I cant get
it to work. Someone please help me. I am pulling out hair.
 
Create a query similar to your report's record source however make it a
totals query that totals by Agent and day of week. Use this as the
recordsource of a subreport. Add the subreport to the Agent footer and set
the Link Master/Child properties to the Agent field.
