Total numbers by month

Total fields by month

I have a database that holds a intial contact date as well as several check
boxes confirming reciept of information. I would like to have a query/report
that shows per a 3 month period (asked for through criteria) the totals for
each Field by the month it was in.

Thanks for any help.
 
Try this --
SELECT Format([ContactDate], "yyyy mmm") AS Contact_Month,
Sum(Abs([CheckBox1])) AS Receipt_1, Sum(Abs([CheckBox2])) AS Receipt_2,
etc...
FROM YourTable
WHERE your criteria ...
GROUP BY Format([ContactDate], "yyyy mmm")
ORDER BY Format([ContactDate], "yyyymm");
 
"each Field by the month it was in" ... this could be interpreted more than
one way.

Please post the table/data structure you're trying to create the query
against.
