I bought a second hand Toshiba Laptop, and reinstalled
WinXP Pro on it but now I have no idea how to activate the
bluetooth on it as well as the SD card slot for it! for I
assume they both need software for either to run, becuase
if I insert a SD card the laptop does not detect it, and
if I activate a bluetooth device near it nothing happens
as well! pliz help!

Hi,

Go to Toshiba website to download the latest XP drivers.

You should update your SD Host controller first otherwise the card will
not be detected if the driver is to old. If you have SP2 installed then
you can do it by the following steps:
Just enter the Windows DeviceManager and select "SD Card Controller"
-> "TOSHIBA SD Card Controller Type-A"
-> right-mouse-click "Update Driver...".
Continue until the installation is finished. You should see a
"Toshiba Secure Digital host controller" now. This is the driver of XP
SP2.
It also works with the "TOSHIBA Bluetooth SD Card2" and "TOSHIBA
Bluetooth SD Card3".
If you do not use SP2 then you should visit the following URL for more
