There are 12 PL app pages - ISTM that we could have some good discussion
if we cycled through them on a weekly basis. This week it's
BUSINESS-HOME, next week will be DESKTOP - and so forth - should make it
easy to remember and anyone could start each week's thread.

Comments? Does anyone want to post a list of favorites or a new discovery?

I'm still looking for a modern standalone spreadsheet programme. Has
anyone found one? Using Sphygmic Spreadsheet now, but it's a bit
limited and clunky.

Old discovery for me. I was thinking about other peoples around last
Christmas and remembered downloading this a couple of years ago.

FREE - ISLAM 5.60 SOFTWARE

I have no other comment to make except that there are a couple more of
them out there. Perhaps someone with more knowledge about other Koran
software could comment on what would be best.

DANG! There used to be a stand-alone Excel 5 clone, and it was pretty fair.
Can't think of the name for the life of me!

There was a Lotus 123 clone called "As-easy-as", but I can't find it.

Alas, it's still on ACF's Freeware wish list. . .

Sorry not to have better news for you. . .

Do you have a PL2004 CD - and room to install a suite? I believe both
OpenOffice.org and Ragtime Solo have spreadsheets. . .

QUOTE) We like to present you with selected information from the areas
Judaica, Bible und Qumran. Moreover, in the Download-Area you will find
lots of other software pieces: they are not all that up-to-date (at
least the common ones) - but on the other hand you will find some
special stuff there you hardly find anywhere else! So again, feel
welcome to browse through our pages! (ENDQUOTE

this is what's listed on the P_prog pages ATM:

Bob,
Not enough info on the first one (Excel 5 clone). As for the
second, it looks to me like "As-Easy-As" is $49 now and all you can
download is a trialware version of it.
