On the property sheet for a text box I can set the top marg.
Does anyone know if there is a way to set a top marg property for a combo
box.

I'm unaware of a top margin property associated with text boxes (or any
other control in Access, for that matter). Where are you finding it, and
what does it do?

Since I use a norwegian version of access it could be that my translations
of the property name is not right.
But I can try to explain. I have a text box in a form. If I set the height
of this text box to 0,6cm and the font size to 8 the text will be aligned to
the top. The text is floating up and there is empty space between the text
and the bottom frame of the textbox. This is adjustable by increasing the
top margin property. (In the property sheet i find this property on line 5
from bottom)
My problem is taht I can not find the same property for a combo box, I'l
guess there is not any.

I really don't see anything remotely similar to that in the English version,
so I don't think I'll be able to offer any assistance.

When I look at the property sheet for a textbox, the last 6 properties on
the Format tab are Font Name, Font Size, Font Weight, Font Italic, Font
Underline and Text Align.

It's not a language difference, but it may well be a version difference.
Access form text boxes do have these properties, but they are a recent
addition. They're in Access 2003. I can't say whether they were in Access
2002, but I'm pretty sure they were not in Access 2000.

Combo boxes don't have these properties, even in Access 2003.

I could have sworn I checked Access 2003 yesterday before posting!

Hallgeir: According to the Help file, Top Margin only applies to Labels,
Text Boxes and the Printer Object.
