Top 5 Summary in Reports

Hey, I'm revealing my own stupidity here, but I'm confused right now.

I know how to bring up the MAX value of something in a report. But I wanted
to make a short summary list of the top 5 values in a specific catagory.

For instance... I have a Fishing Tourney DB... 100 boats, each with 100 fish.
The reports are sorted Descending by weight. I want to include a summary for
each boat with the Top 5 sorted by lenghth. I know this kind of large report
really isn't what a DB is for, but here I am.

Is this possible. Or do I have to make a Top 5 table and linking SubReport
for each boat?
 
You got it. Create yoour main report grouped by boat, now you can create a
sub report limited to top 5, place this subreport in the header or footer of
your main report and voila.
