spam

Funny how the actual spam never shows up in my inbox, but only these
complaints about it.

I really don't want to killfile you, because you often have useful
things to say. But these "spam announcements" of yours really clutter
up the newsgroup. If you want to do something useful, why not report
the spammers to their ISPs? Many will take no action, but many will
cut them off.

Of course the spam doesn't show up in your inbox. You haven't clicked on the
item the spammer posted. What's more, Malke's announcements are only one
word so how on earth can you complain that it clutters up the newsgroup? Go
and count her 'spam posts'. What she is doing is USEFUL contrary to what you
say. Post facts not your emotions.

Don't be silly -- when I say "don't show up" I mean precisely that.
There are no line-items for them, nothing.

Since you say -- nay, SHOUT -- that they're useful, pray tell us what
use they have. I can see none, as I said.

Go back and look at the OP, the one Malke says is spam. You'll notice a line
'http://www.techten.blogspot.com' which is also underlined. Click on that
and you'll get your spam. Malke's post is simply stating that it is spam. It
may or may not give you a virus. It is simply something to avoid. Malke's
post may be very beneficial to a newbie as an example so she shouldn't be
criticized for cluttering up the newsgroup..
