I am not sure what you mean when you write "tooltips...for example, a long path
name". Perhaps you mean the "Location:" tooltip that displays when you hover over a
shortcut to an object... If so, try selecting the object in Windows Explorer and
then look in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. If the status bar is not
visible, click the View menu, and then click Status Bar. And if you mean something
entirely different, please repost with more information.
