Tooltip for screen area

Hi,

I draw symbols in my application on screen. Now I want display some status
informations as tooltip for each sysmbols, when the mouse moves over the
symbol.
How can I do that? The tooltip class seems to work only with controls and
not with areas on screen.
Has someone an idea what to do?
