I want to change my home page. HELP says open Tools Tab,
then Internet Options, Then click on General tab. I have
done this before.

Now when I go there, the GENERAL tab is missing. I don't
know what happened. Can anyone assist and send me an e-
mail response.

You have spyware/parasite/hijacker. Temporary fix is to use regedit.exe and
delete key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel" and
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control
Panel" with all subkeys. The parasite will propably hide the general tab
again, if you don't get rid of it.

Restore All tabs in IE and Removes the ** Internet Options ** Restrictions
as well


The problem is due to a spyware. Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com,
scan the system and eliminate the malware products. Re-apply the above fix
if necessary.
** Remember to update the pattern file using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware **
