Hi I am trying to install via add programs office 2000 pro, Yet
Windows 2000 server comes up with an error message to read the
resources tool kit and gives me a url to a microsoft webpage which is
not longer there.
I've been able to install other applications, why woud office 2000 be
a prorblem?

Thanks in advance

Phil

Hi,

Try D:\Setup.exe with the Office CD in your drive (assuming D: is your CD
letter).

Do you have Terminal Services installed?

Would this be stopping it or causing that error message?

Thanks

HI Jonathan

I did what you suggested and it seemed to go okay,
I ran the custom instalaltion wizard and
It gets to the window of where you tell it what path you want to
sinatll it and then I click next and I get a error message saying
"unable to msiview" corrupt msi file

What gives here?

Help!

Thanks

Phil

Hm...Not sure...Is the disk scratched at all? Are you an Admin? Try
copying the appropriate disks to the hard drive and installing again
