Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6811) SP3

The contact (address) list in Microsoft Outlook is in first name, last
name I want last name, first name. Help says go to Ms Outlook, Tools,
Options, Contacts, (change default settings ), then click OK. Then Apply on
the next screen. The problem is Apply is grayed out, and cannot be used.

I am an administrator and there is NO EXCHANGE. Any ideas how to activate
this option?

Thanks Bob

Your post is too vague. Post more clearly the view you are actually trying
to sort. "contact (address) list" could mean anything. Are you referring to
the address book view instead of a Contacts view?

Want to change first name, last name filing to last name, first name filing

Outlook help says go to Ms Outlook, Tools, Options, Contacts, (change
default settings ), then click OK. Then click Apply
on the next screen. The problem is Apply is grayed out, and cannot be
changed.

How can this be enabled so I can change the filing of the names around?

That much you made clear. Answer the other questions.
The Contact Folder has many possible views and names appear in many fields.
If you do not state which view you mean and which field you mean, we cannot
help you.
