Tools Access

I have XP home, IE6 and am the "computor administrator".
I have suddently been denied access to the tools menu
from IE, with message to contact my administrator-That's
me.
When I look at my Internet Options through Contol Panel,
everything looks normal, except my Home Page settings are
grayed out.
The only change I've made to my system in many months is
downloading of the recommended Microsoft update to "Set
Program Access and Defaults".

Looking at that, it is set to Custom, and doesn't let me
switch to the Microsoft option.

Any ideas?

If you have Spybot S&D installed, look at the Immunize settings. You might
have locked yourself out of Browser Options.

If not... go to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Look for "Various Registry Fixes" and "UnlockNoBrowserOptions.reg "
