Hi there,

My toolbox in visual studio is duplicating the contents of each tab every
time I fire it up, so I have hundreds of duplicate items at the moment.

Any idea what's causing this?

Nick.

What do you mean by calling "everytime you fire it up"? First try to
remove duplicate entries in your toolbox by:

Right click -> Delete or Delete Tab.

Then right click -> "choose items" and make sure no duplicate entries
are checked.
Also you can consider choosing "Reset Toolbox" option to restore
toolbox tab layout.

Hope this helps,

Hi Onur,

The tabs aren't duplicating only the items in them, I have reset the
toolbox once already and everything returned to normal. but it's all built
up since then. Deleting them individually would be so tedious. I think I
might reinstall Visual Studio, this seems to have happened since Service
Pack 1, although I could be wrong...
