HELP! I need to add text boxes to my reports, but when I click on the
Toolbox icon, nothing happens. The toolbar is not visible. I followed the
steps outlined in the 2005 post regarding changing the Startup options, but
that didn't solve the problem. to no avail. The Allow Built-in Toolbar
options box is checked.

I would suspect that the toolbox toolbar has been dragged off-screen.
Right-click on an empty section of the Windows desktop.
Select Properties.
Click on the Settings tab.
Write down the current Screen Resolution values.
Set the Screen Resolution slider to a higher resolution value.
Click OK

Open your database and click on the Tool Box.
The Toolbox Toolbar should be visible somewhere on the screen.
Drag it back to the Access application.
Close and save Access.
Go back to the windows properties.
Reset the Screen Resolution to the original values.
Save the changes.
