Yes the toolbars are fine in Word.
I guess the only issue in Outlook email is that they can't be resized
with sizing handle, so if I have 2 toobars, Outlook forces me to keep
them on separate lines. Same with the menu bar.
Their inability to be placed on the same line just takes up a little
too much screen real estate for my taste.

The Normal.dot template in Word should control both new Word
documents and new WordMail messages...
