In the past, when I have accessed a site where the main part of the site
opens full screen (eg http://exorcistthebeginning.warnerbros.com), once the
site launches, I have not had any toolbars.

Now when I access these sites, I still have the title and status bars showing.

Is there any reason for this and how can I change it back?

Because that still leaves a toolbar. With some sites (like the one I linked)
they are designed to have no toolbars at all when they launch.

Right click the toolbar and select Autohide.
For the Status Bar click View and uncheck the Status Bar.

My question is related. I have one computer which, when I type <F11> to get
to full-screen mode, leaves the status bar visible at the bottom of the
screen. It didn't do that originally, and I'm not sure what I did to change
it, such that the status bar doesn't go away. Will the View >> Status Bar
command help me? I would like to continue to have the status bar visible
when not in Full Screen mode.
