Toolbar wallpaper

What ever happened those neat toolbar wallpapers from win98. Xp colors are
so boring. Can you get them for xp?

That information won't work... I have tried it several times..
I have a nice woodgrain bmp that works on my 98 machine but
I can't make it go in XP... I have also made one that says
BackBitmapShell by some advice and it doesn't work either.
I am using this as the string... Am I correct..
BackBitmapIE5 "C:\Documents and Settings\Geezer\Desktop\Burt\
woodgrain.bmp" for the string... I think the string is supposed to have
the
Quotes isn't it???

Yes, XP supports skinning the IE toolbar.

This registry business. I thought you just downloaded pre-made wallpaper
and off you go.
 
I just installed IE Toolpaper for IE5 and it works fine, on XP Home Ed., if
you like the IE wallpaper styles.

It will work in Explorer if you add a new string to the HKEY xxxx
TOOLBAR
and name it BackBitmapShell and then put the full pathway to the bmp..
I did it this morning and works slick... I have a little bmp of walnut grain
wood and love it...

Not for the Internet Explorer toolbar.

to the bmp..
