Ever since I upgraded to IE6 my toolbar won't stay locked
and I loose the settings on subsequent sessions. Any
suggestions to keep the toolbar to stay locked? Thanks.

Tom,
Odd Toolbar Behavior:
Open Regedit to the following location:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser]

Highlight the "ITBarLayout" entry (right pane)
Right-click and select: Delete, close Regedit and reboot.
Note: the "ITBarLayout" will be recreated on restart.
Always Export before editing ........

Innocent Surfer,
Open Regedit, click the Help tab, select the Index tab
(type) export

Simply: creates a backup reg file before editing (just in case)

Mike,

This sounds like my problem too. What do you mean
by "Always export before editing" ?

Can you explain this step?

Thanks,

IS
