RE: MS Internet Explorer 6 - Toolbar

This browser has some handy (to me) options on its toolbar, like
History, Home and Fill Forms. I right clicked the toolbar like I was
instructed to, but it did not have the customization option. I finally
found the customization option just by "poking around" w/ the side
arrows on the toolbar. However, the items there could not be dragged
to the toolbar - like the Help File said they could.

How would I put the options I want on the toolbar?

Thank you,

Barry Karas

Barry,

Go over to the right on the toolbar (as you did) and again >> click
customize. Scroll down on the left field and find the toolbuttons you want
to add. One at a time highlight the button>click Add> when you have added
all that you like, you may arrange them by highlighting the ones in the
right field and moving "up" or "down" which moves them left or right on the
toolbar itself. When you have finished, click close.

I never tried "dragging" them to a location, but I'm not certain that it
works; I'll have to try that next time.

I did this, but nothing appears on my toolbar.

Barry,

No extra toolbuttons that you added appear on the dropdown list after
clicking the >>button?

There is a limit as to how many tool icons can fit and be displayed all at
once on the top of the toolbar; If in the dialog box you have "text" enabled
(even "selective text") this is going to reduce the number that will be
displayed. To get as many displayed as is possible without the need to click
on the ">>" button, you must uncheck both Text, and Selective Text. If you
don't there is no way to fit them all on the toolbar. This is the only way I
know of to display *all* the chosen icons at one time. Otherwise you will
only see them when you click the ">>" button.

It worked. And now I know why too. Thanks.
