Is there any way to build a toolbar on the desktop like we used to have in
2002?
I really need this. I have a ton of shortcuts that I use all the time.

They were very handy in the sidebar. I can't believe MS has not put this
back in because I see a lot of people asking for this.

Can anyone help?
Thanks, please send reply to (e-mail address removed)

The Desktop toolbar is still there if that is what you mean. It is still
activated by right clicking on the taskbar, selecting Toolbars, and choosing
Desktop.

WHERE? I've not seen any complaings even close to what you're whining
about.

"2002"??? WTF are you even talking about? Part of Office 2002?

Windows XP is listed as XP 2002 on the General Tab of the System Properties
page. That is actually its name. It got the moniker because it released in
the second half of 2001, which was during MS's fiscal year 2002. MS gives
year-based product names based on release in their fiscal year, not calendar
year. Thus anything that gets a year designation that releases between July
1 and December 31 gets named for the following year (calendar).

Gotcha. Thanks.
