I am using IE6 and it has toolbars for Yahoo, Norton Antivirus as well as
the standard IE one.. When I uncheck Norton Toolbar, the Yahoo Toolbar turns
off. and vise-versa. Is there a fix for this or should I just live with it.

Thanks

Hi,

I made a post on Oct-07 with the subject "Google ToolbarProblem" !
Communicating with Google and several Newsgroups didn't help to solve my
problem. So, desperate as I am ( well was ) I tried your suggestion and went
to the http://toolbar.google.com/fixmenu site and it fixed also my problem
with IE not shutting down completely ( was still running in Task Mgr. ) when
the Google Toolbar is installed.

Now the interesting part would be to know what Registry settings exactly are
getting changed, modified or deleted by this web site fix. Does anyone know
that ???

Would be great to know.

Thanks,

Tom

Thank you for your response. In the instructions at the link you gave it
says "To work, this button does require that you have the Google Toolbar
installed and active." I am not using the Google Toolbar and am unsure if I
should try this without it. Do you have any experience running the fix with
out the Google Toolbar installed. I would had to create even a larger
problem than the minor one I have now.

I had the same problem that J Ross had. It was the utility at dougknox.com
that did it. Thanks. John
