Does the toolbar use much CPU or RAM?

And if it does, will it "pause" or something when I have a game on or other
full-screen application? Thanks!

Do you mean the taskbar with the Start orb?

If you mean the sidebar then it does not take very much ram or cpu time.
Gadgets you load into the sidebar may. It will depend on the gadget.

Same ans. Kerry gave to the sidebar to the toolbar. Game or other
full-screen app--pause? Not sure what you meant there.

Sorry-I am new to Vista! I did mean the sidebar, and I have the clock,
CPU/RAM gauge, and a few others. Will those take up much?

Thanks for the quick replies!

Probably not. You can right click the taskbar (bottom of your screen)
and select task manager. You can see how much RAM and CPU the
sidebar.exe is using. Shouldn't be much.

Right click on the Task Bar, click on Task Manager, then the Performance
tab. Note the statistics displayed. If you want even more info click on the
Resource Monitor button. Remove a gadget from the sidebar and see if the
statistics change much.
