My daughter was recently on my computer and she must have
gone to a website and downloaded a different
configuration for my toolbar. very annoying.

is there any way to reset the computer to restore the
original toolbar at the top of the screen. By the way it
shows up when I open both explorer and outlook.

Thks.

Probably there has been an online-installation of a
commercial toolbar, go to control panel and doubleclick on
add/remove programs, u should be able to uninstall the
toolbar from here.

Hello Kevin,

Either of the following might help.

1) http://www.dougknox.com, "Win XP Utilities"
"Repair Missing Toolbars in Explorer/IE"

2) Or visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 3,
(Restore Missing Toolbars VBS)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "ietoolbars.vbs",
then double-click the file and follow the prompts.
