Hi Chege,
"To show pop-up descriptions for folder and desktop items", search Windows 2000 Help
for words in double-quotes and follow the steps. Note the following information
(obtained by right-clicking the option and clicking "What's this?"):
Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items:
Specifies that a description of a selected folder or desktop item is displayed in a
pop-up window. When you select this check box, the pop-up description appears even if
Web content is not enabled on your desktop or in folders. If Web content is displayed
in the folder, selecting this check box has no effect because the same information
already appears in the left pane of the folder.
To show Tool Tips for other "applications running there", try searching the
applications' help for words such as:
Tool Tip
Tooltip
Screen Tip
ScreenTips
Popup
Pop-ups
And if you cannot find any information, try posting in a newsgroup for the
application in question.
