Tool bars unreadable

I am running Windows XP home edition. I recently had to
reboot my system and when I did all the toor bars and
icons are unreadable. Instead of letters they are small
blocks, X's, ? marks and all sorts of other designs. When
I go into a page I can read that it is just my toor bars
and icons. Does any one have any susgestions. Thanks.

Same happened to me yesterday.Some kelly's fix I loaded

changed a setting.Fixed mine try opening your internet
explorer---tools---internet options---advance tab---
restore defaults---apply---ok--- fixed mine.I think it
wes the top 2 boxes in accesability.
