tool bar

I am running windows 2000. Somehow a tool bar called
mewebsearch appeared on my machine. I went into add/remove
to take it off, but it is not listed. Can anyone tell me
how to remove it.

With spyware scanner. use ad-aware or spybot search and destroy.
