For yahoo it seems to have changed recently. If you installed Messenger
using default options you get junk with it, some of the junk it seems the
only way to remove is to completely uninstall the whole lot and then start
over with messenger and read EVERY screen. There is a second screen where at
least one option checkbox you cleared comes back checked and renamed a bit,
but it still means "Junk".
Unfortunately Yahoo "Improve" things frequently and this pattern has changed
twice if I recall correctly so the only answer is to watch the install like
a hawk, every part of every window that pops up.
