Hi,
I'm creating a report. It's my first so I'm rather a
newbie.

I have numerous query based fields in the report, 11 of
which are calculated in this query from other fields.
When I run the report it has 11 pages.
I don't know how to fix this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
CJ

How many rows of data are there when you run the query?
If there are 11 rows, you may have created your report
with a page break based on some field in your query
results.

Check your report to see if you have created any group
headers or footers that have page breaks set.

The report does have ll 'lines' in the details section. I
have 11 calculated variables, one on each line. I'm not
sure how to check and see if I've created page breaks. I
have checked my header and my footer to the best of my
ability and can find nothing. Do you have any other
thoughts or instruction? I do appreciate the help!

CJ,
If you run the query, not the report, how many rows of
data do you have? I am guessing that you have 11. I
think your report is probably displaying 1 row per page.
You have 11 lines in your detail, but the results on page
1 are probably from row 1 of your query.
If you display your report in design view, you will see
any headers or footers that you have created. They will
be based on fields from your query. If you place your
cursor on the box to the left of the header or footer, and
press the right button on your mouse, you'll get a list of
choices. Select properties. There's an option that says
FORCE NEW PAGE. Check to see if you have anything set
here. If you do find a header or footer, you probably
want to get rid of it.
In order to do that, right click on the box in the
upper left of your report. Select sorting/grouping.
Highlight the header/footer that you want to get rid of
and press delete key.
Hope this helps.
