Too many "My Documents" folders

Recently bought an XP machine. Used PC relocator to move somethings. Now I
have 3 "My Documents" One under Desktop (I think this is just a shortcut
folder, but the subfolders seem to have the right amt of space taken up),
one under Owner under "C" (I presume the correct place) and then a third
tight after Shared Documents" in Explorer called ":Owner Documents" If I
delete something from any one, it gets deleted in the other 2. Any
solutions. Seems like a waste of space and or utilization.

It only appears to be a waste of space. Those that are not under your user
name are simply shortcuts to provide convenience. You My Documents folder
and its contents are all in one place. This is a creation of the operating
system and I don't think you can turn it off. It allows you to move quickly
to them in Explorer, for example rather than having to always drill down
through Documents and Settings.

Thank you. I thought as much but wasn't sure,
