Too many methods -- can't fire events -- huh?

I replied to another posting about this error when I try to capture video from my JVC DV camcorder. I looked at PapaJohn's website where he keeps telling everyone to go, but it doesn't seem to address the problem. What is the deal with Microsoft? What kind of "support" is this? Do any Microsoft people read this "newsgroup"? I don't want to devote my life to programming codecs for high-speed, ultra-HDTV, AVI-to-MPEG2, super-duper capture converter whoosie whatsits; I just want to burn video of my kid ripping open Christmas presents to a stupid DVD! I bought Microsofts new, high-falutin (sp?) "Windows XP" operating system b/c my reasonably-reliable Win 98SE just wouldn't cut it with the new camcorder and DVD burner I bought. Now I'm "supported" by Microsoft with my "up to date" O.S., and my "support" consists of all of us who don't know what's going on talking to each other about it. Great. Thanks Microsoft. It's no wonder your new mascot is a bug.

Steve,

What model camcorder are you using, and are you using a firewire connection?

PapaJohn
