Too many indexes error message

Hi, I am trying to link to an external database but on two of the tables I get an error message "Too many indexes...delete some indexes and try again"

I cannot delete any indexes as the external database requires them (it's our management information database).

My work around has been to export the two tables to Excel files and then link Access to these but it's a bit cumbersome and prevent 'real time' queries.

Firstly, any ideas and secondly, does anyone know if v2003 overcomes the 32 index field limit?

Thanks, Dan

Afraid I don't have a solution, but the same 32 index limit exists in Access
2003.

Create a View on the Server.
Link to the View instead of the table.
