Dear Zilla,

it seems that you are posting "in the future", I suspect that either your
clock or your TimeZone on your computer are mis-configured

rgds,
Edwin.

You can right click on eahc of the icons and see if any of them have a
Setup/Configuraiton/Options feature that allows you to place icon in the
taskbar. If so, turn it off.

If not, use the Tasbar | Properties | Taskbar .... Hide Inactive Icons
Cutomize button and change the Action to Always Hide.

Any way to "hide" the icons on the right side of the task bar,
without hiding the whole task bar?

Not without a third party tool, unless it is coded or programed in the
service or application itself.

This the first thing I tried, and not many had the option.

I don't see this option in Right-click-taskbar->Properties

You won't see it because there is no such thing in Windows 2000. It's a
Windows XP feature and it doesn't apply here.
