"Too Many Fields" error when using Form Wizard

I am trying to create a data entry form using about 70 fields. The first
time I tried to create a form using a Wizard it worked, but I didn't like
the layout. On subsequent tries I received an error, "The wizard is unable
to create your form or report because you chose too many fields; please try
again with fewer fields." Since it already worked once, it seems like it
may be a memory problem but my system's resource meter doesn't detect a
memory shortage.

Also, I would like to create a form that uses the fields' caption properties
as labels (as the wizard does) but that defaults to displaying the full
width of the captions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is a knowledgebase article that explains your problem. I can't
remember what it says but you might try cutting the unneeded fields then
creating a copy of the original.
70 Fields is a lot. Has the database been normalized?

The wizard tries to make things neat.
You can go full width by double clicking in the upper right of the widest
label, then selecting all of them and making them the same size.
You will have to move the largest label field manually then align all the
others.
