Here is the scenario - 1451.40 in cell A1; 1387.59 in
B1; C1 is =A1-B1, to give me an answer of 63.81. Now, I
need to copy that answer and paste to another cell. I do a
Copy / Paste Special, choose Value, and the cell DOES
display 63.81. The problem is, the formula bar displays
63.8100000000002. This number is messing up other
calculations in the spreadsheet. I know I can do a 'round'
function, but that doesn't really solve the problem
because I have hundreds of calculations in here. It's not
feasible to do a 'round' function on everything in the
chance that this problem is appearing in other places. I
really just want to be able to copy and paste the data
without it showing all the extra decimal places. Any
suggestions ?
